Description
Make your own foam brush from a kitchen sponge.
5 advantages for the price of one quick 3D print:
- Quick and easy brush from a cheap kitchen sponge.
- Perfect for touch up with paint.
- Perfect for applying glue/epoxy when a real brush would be wasted.
- Costs of ~0,05 $/€ per foam brush as only the tip is replaced.
- Shape the brush tip to your liking.
The kitchen sponge brush handle comes in different widths: 15mm (fine), 20mm (medium), 30mm (wide)
Usage:
-
Cut a piece off the kitchen sponge with a cutter knife or scissors.
-
Clamp that piece into the DIY kitchen sponge brush handle.
-
Thats it.

Notes:
-
Print the pin in a horizontal position for more strength - thats why it is flattened.
PLA is prone to creep. So when leaving a piece of foam in the handle, the handle will loose its clamping force over time. Print it in PETG instead!
