Helix Rift – Sensory Twisty Fidget

Helix Rift is a satisfying rotating sensory fidget built from interlocking spiral blades that create a dynamic twisting motion while maintaining a clean sculptural appearance. The layered geometry gives it a unique tactile feel and a visually hypnotic rotation pattern.

This model includes two print profiles:

• Small Version

• Large Version

I strongly recommend printing the Large Version, as the smaller version has thinner engagement areas and the sections may pop out more easily during use.

This fidget is designed for:

• Gentle sensory play

• Desk interaction

• Display and tactile handling

• Smooth twisting motion

It is not designed for aggressive compression or heavy force. As there is a void in the middle, which acts as a place where all forces and contract and pop off the fidget.

Material Recommendations:

• Recommended: Standard PLA

• Not Recommended: Silk PLA

Silk PLA tends to contract more during cooling, which can tighten tolerances and increase the chance of pieces binding or popping out unexpectedly.

Important Notes:

• Do not squeeze the model from the sides.

• Avoid excessive twisting force or impact.

• Overstressing the structure can cause sections to disengage from their slots.

If any sections pop out during aggressive play or accidental force, simply align them back into their slots and snap them gently back into place.
