Description

This is an easy-to-print solution for mounting D-series connectors to the bottom of a Pedaltrain pedalboard (Classic 3).

I have made the file modular and adaptable to any standard D-series connector (that I know of) and they should be easy to mount internally or externally. The included locking dividers help prevent the patchbay from flexing and secure it between the pedalboard rails weel enough that glue, velcro or tape are not needed. If mounting the connectors internally, do not use the dividers, and be aware that some locking features on connectors may not have enough travel to unlock! For this reason, I recommend external mounting.

The design here also uses standard M3 screws to bite into the patchbay, so you don't need nuts or washers on the inside.

The connectors must be mounted horizontally, which means some locking features are a little harder to get at than if they were mounted in the traditional vertical orientation, but this lets me fit them between the rails without sticking out.

I have files for 2, 3 and 4 port versions.

I designed it to fit a Pedaltrain Classic 3 board, and if it doesn't fit yours, I'll happily try to modify to suit other boards.

Print face down in any mostly rigid plastic (PLA tested, ASA, ABS, PETG should also work well). Flex materials are not recommended.
