Description
Exhaust for the Core One Chamber Fans
This exhaust system is designed to work with the Core One chamber fans, requiring minimal space behind the printer—only an additional 6 cm. It also includes an 100 mm adapter mounted to the side of the printer.
The duct dimensions are calculated to maintain consistent airspeed throughout the entire exhaust path by keeping the cross-sectional area (cm²) constant. This ensures that the chamber fans are not affected and can maintain their intended RPMs.
The wall thickness of the exhaust is relatively thin, which may lead to deformation when printing with high-temperature filaments. However, I haven’t tested this extensively, as I primarily print with PETG and PLA.
For those aiming to vent fumes outside the room, you’ll need an additional 6 cm of clearance at the back of the printer and may need to loosen one or two nylon rivets.
feel free to upload a 3MF when you think you have the best settings for this duct.
Can be mounted with m3x10
