MacBook Vertical Dock / Stand for USB-C Extension Adapter

This is a 3D printable vertical docking stand for a MacBook, designed to replicate the basic functionality of a commercial vertical MacBook dock. It lets you place your MacBook upright on your desk and connect it through a fixed USB-C extension adapter, making daily docking and undocking faster and cleaner.

The model is designed to be used together with a USB-C extension adapter, such as the Afterplug APCCADPT01-SG adapter. The adapter is inserted into the printed dock, so the MacBook can slide into position and connect to the USB-C port without manually plugging in the cable every time.

Required additional part

To use this model as intended, you need a USB-C extension adapter:

Afterplug APCCADPT01-SG USB-C adapter
or another adapter with the same shape and dimensions.

Please check the adapter fit before printing, especially if using a different brand or revision.

Printing recommendations

Recommended settings:

• Material: PLA, PETG, ABS or ASA

• Layer height: 0.3 mm

• Infill: 15–30%
