Description

Tic Tac Toe: Big Eat Small (also widely known as Gobblet Gobblers) is a clever, dynamic twist on the classic paper-and-pencil game.

While the ultimate goal remains the same—be the first to align three of your pieces in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally)—the introduction of different piece sizes completely changes the strategy.

Key Gameplay Rules:

  • Size Matters: Each player has a set of pieces in three sizes (Large, Medium, Small). Larger pieces can gobble up (cover) any smaller piece on the board, whether it belongs to your opponent or yourself.

  • Move or Place: On your turn, you can either place a new piece from your reserve onto the board or move a piece that is already on the board to a new square (and potentially gobble a smaller piece there).

  • The Memory Twist: If you lift a piece that was covering another one, the hidden piece becomes active again. This can lead to sudden surprises if you accidentally reveal an opponent's piece that completes their winning row!

Bottom Line: It is a fast-paced, tactical game that requires much more foresight, memory, and strategy than traditional Tic Tac Toe, making it a perfect upgrade for both kids and adults.

What you need for play:

  • 9x meeple per player (3x small 100% / 3x medium 150% / 3x large 200%)

  • 4x frames to be put together. You can pause the print of the frames to insert 5x2.5mm magnets inside.

  • If you like you can also print the BOX for this game.

Have fun!
