Description
An Ender 3 (Pro) X-axis motor cover with a modified endstop mount to make full use of the bed in the X-direction. It always bugged me, that the leftmost 3 mm of the bed were out of reach for the nozzle on my Ender 3 Pro, because the endstop protruded too far from the X-axis motor cover. This re-engineered motor cover solves that problem.
The design is optimized for FDM printing and available with different fixed offsets (+1 to +5 mm) for the X-endstop, as well as with a slotted hole with variable offset. A version with the stock mounting position is also provided. Due to the stronger screw holes and the guaranteed straight mounting of the endstop, I recommend using a fixed offset version. On my machine, +3 mm were spot on.
I assume that this design also works on the original CR-10, because it shares many parts with the Ender 3. But I can't test that, as I don't have a CR-10 at hand. If you do, let me know in the comments, if this worked for you.
