2 stage rocket designed by Hermann Oberth. Second stage rides inside the first stage. Nose cone opens to allow 2nd stage release. Fins swing forward for 1st stage reentry.

Print 2 nose cone fairings halves, 4 fin pins, 4 fins , 4 fin mounts and 1 each of each of the other parts. You will also need a couple of short pieces of filament the same color as the body to act as fairing hinges. I used CA glue to fasten the 3 segments of the 1st stage body together and to connect the 2 halves of the second stage. While the fin mounts snap in, a little glue here is probably a good idea. If the fins are too loose, use washers cut from a sheet of paper between the fin mount and the fins. Use enough of these washers so that the fins stay where you put them but are not too tight.

This model is kind of big and some of the parts barely fit on my MK 3.5 bed. The second stage will need to be split in order to fit. Should work at half scale; you will just need to use something else to hold the fairings in place.
