Description
After some of my friends and I got drunk, we came up with a revolutionary idea.
This is the Chudjak bobblehead. The ultimate form of stress relief for when the West has fallen. Billions must print. Nothing ever happens. Makes the perfect gift for your chud friends.
This is a multicolor print and relies heavily on the slicer color painting. You could try to paint it by hand, but it will be quite the challenge. I printed this on my tool-changer Snapmaker U1, with the head taking about 5-6 hours and the body taking about 11-12 hours. Single nozzle printers will likely take much longer and use up much more filament, so be prepared.
For print settings, I use a 0.4 nozzle, 0.12 layer height, and 15% infill. I recommend using an aligned seam for the head and an aligned back seam for the body.
I print mine with removable support interfaces for the best possible look and ease of removal, and this is accounted for in the model files. Feel free to just use normal supports, but it might be significantly harder to remove around the glasses and the hands.
To assemble, you need a metal compression spring. This model uses a 0.65 x 7 x 25 mm (wire/diameter/length) spring, as I've found it to be the nicest in terms of stability and bobble-iness. I bought a spring kit on Amazon. The head and body are split via a connector, so you should be able to adjust it to whichever spring you have. I do not recommend using window springs you can find more easily at hardware stores, as they are significantly more firm and aren't as bobbly. I put some hot glue on the ends of the spring to secure it in place.
Happy printing, and enjoy your lovely desktop chuddy.
