## Recommended Print Settings To ensure the mount is strong enough to securely hold your laptop over time, I highly recommend the following slicer settings: * **Material:** PETG or ASA/ABS is strongly recommended. Under load, laptops emit heat, and standard PLA might deform (creep) over time under constant weight and elevated temperatures. * Perimeters (Wall Lines): 4 or 5 (This is crucial for the structural integrity of the mounting tabs and bottom shelf). * Infill: 20% - 30% (Gyroid or Grid for good structural support). * Top/Bottom Layers: 4-5 layers. * Supports: Depending on your printer's bridging capabilities and how you orient the model on the build plate, minimal supports might be needed for the cable cutout or the upper mounting lip. ## Hardware Needed * 4 or 6 wood screws (depending on your mounting layout) to secure the brackets into the underside of your desk. * (Optional) A strip of thin self-adhesive felt or EVA foam tape applied to the inside bottom shelf to prevent scratches on aluminum laptop bodies.
