Track how many movies you've watched with this cinema-inspired 3D printable movie counter!

Designed with a classic clapperboard aesthetic, this counter uses a smart 5-cube system that allows you to display any 3-digit number — including duplicates like 111 or 666 — without requiring extra cubes.

No AMS/MMU or multi-color printer needed. All white elements are printed separately and inserted into the black parts for a clean two-color look on standard single-extruder printers.

🖨 Print Settings

Material: PLA or PETG
Colors: Black + White recommended

Layer Height:

• 0.2 mm for the base

• 0.16 mm recommended for cubes and digits for sharper details

Infill: 15% (Gyroid or Grid recommended)

Supports: Cubes & Digits: NOT required (they print completely flat).

• Main Base: YES, supports are required for the front retaining lip (the overhang that keeps the cubes from falling out).

• Tip: Use Tree (Organic) supports in your slicer — they are super easy to remove from inside the cavity!

🔧 Assembly

Print all parts separately and insert or glue the white digits and clapper arrows into their slots.

A small drop of CA glue (superglue) is recommended for permanent assembly.

Tip: If CA glue leaves a white residue on black plastic, gently wipe it with a tiny drop of oil to restore the matte finish.
