Description

After testing countless Y splitter designs available online, none of them fully satisfied me — there were always issues with calibration, filament loading/unloading reliability, or both. I ended up spending a significant amount of time iterating through multiple versions before finally landing on one that works flawlessly.

This is my final version, and I'm very happy with it.

What it does:

This Y splitter allows you to have both loading paths available simultaneously on your Prusa:

  • MMU side: for multi-material printing

  • CoreOne side single-filament: for materials like TPU that don't play well with the MMU

The key benefit: no need to touch the PTFE tube when switching between MMU and single-filament mode. You can go from multi-material to TPU and back without any physical change.

Print instructions:

  • Use the 3MF with pre-configured support

  • Use PTFE
