Description
(note: i got my export axis backwards, you will need to rotate it so the flat side is down for printing. I will try to fix later)
After a close call in the garden involving a stake and my eyes, I threw together this simple model to stick on top of the stakes. These also came in handy when there was a late frost and I had to drape fabric over everything. without these the stakes just poked through.
I really didn't see anything like this on here so I figured I would post mine even though its a pretty trivial model.
I am using bamboo of various diameters, so I put a taper in the center from 15mm to 5mm. I found if you give them a little twist they stay on really well. It should be straightforward to alter the taper in freecad.
I printed with 0% infill with PLA. At those settings I was able to print 9 of them in about 2.5 hrs. I am not sure how durable these will be. PETG or ABS might be a better choice. You could add some walls and/or infill if you want something you can really hammer on.
