Description

Model

This replaces the cheap clamps that come with the corded Ozito tracksaw and allow you to use Workzone (Aldi) or other generic wood working clamps to firmly hold the tracksaw guide in place while also allowing you to unclamp and move it to your next cut quickly.

It is reccomended to insert two heatset inserts and use two m3 x 30mm countersunk screws installed from the opposite direction to hold the clamp adpater together as the force of the clamp can cause breakages along the layer lines. After implementing this modification I have not had a single adapter break after dozens of cuts.

Parts needed

2x m3 heatset inserts (optional)
2x m3 x 30mm countersunk screws (optional)

Installation

(1) Install the heatset inserts into the indicated holes on the clamp adapter, then screw in two countersunk m3 x 30mm screws from the opposite side. (optional)

(2) Unscrew the wingnut holding in the clamp end of the aldi clamp, replace this with the printed part and screw the wingnut back in after placing in the nut in the haxagonal nut holder.

(3) Remove the existing lower clamp end of the clamp if needed and replace it with the clamp extension piece and TPU bumper.
