Description

I wanted to make a very compact recording/streaming PC and this is what I came up with.

I used a Uctronics UC-747 HDMI adapter, Uctronics UC-586 (but any 800x480 5 inch screen with the same tabs should fit), and an Acasis VS-041 / Unisheen UC4K60H / Sanwei T300M2H-4K60 capture card attached to a PCIe4 riser I did have to cut a hole in the PC to fit the riser cable out the top, the plastic was very thick and difficult to cut.

I don't have a Waveshare screen however the holes should line up because I used a waveshare LCD model to create this, the Uctronics screen holes are closer together by 2mm.
The reason for a screen mount is so I can have either the K9 PC on the screen or use it for loop out, this capture card does not capture without loop out connected.

I may come up with a cover in the future to go over the capture card, I also really want to add a fan splitter and second fan in the future. (the stock SSD/RAM fan is a 5v 40mm x 10mm fan) The capture card does get pretty hot so it would be ideal to have a second fan.

Story time:
You may be asking, why the K9? It's simple really! It ships with the new core ultra CPUs which unlike their predecessors they come with integrated Arc graphics and hardware AV1 encode/decode. This makes it absolutely perfect for high framerate capture, originally I was going to go with a 12 or 13th gen intel because some of the mobile CPUs come with Iris Xe graphics and have up to 96 Xe cores which is a great option! Originally I was going to mod a business class HP or Dell laptop to accommodate the capture card, as most models have 2 M.2 PCIe slots. I ended up finding out GMKtec already was shipping the core ultra 5 125H it's not exactly the model I wanted but it's what is readily available. Now that SSDs have gotten larger this is no longer impractical. It's perfect for streaming with dual 2.5Gig lan ports it offers a ton of versatility.
