There is nothing like a simple update to a model that changes everything.  I love both of these models and was a little bit disappointed when I couldn't get the helping hands to work like I wanted.  There is nothing wrong with the designs, but the rail clamps are big and take up precious room.  

After a minute of lamenting, I jammed my peanut butter right into my chocolate and made this.  The ball joint sits on the top of each arm and you can use the helping hands as intended.
