Gnome Cầm Bazooka (Bazooka Gnome)

This is a scanned reconstruction of a garden sculpture. The photo shows prints in 160% scale luminous PLA and 50% scale ABS.

The model has a lot of overhangs. After lots of experimentation I found that, for FDM printing, placing the model on the build plate on its back balancing on the tripod of the hat, rear of the bazooka and the base works best. I used support on build plate only. Printing small scale versions benefit from enforced support for the first 10 or so layers.

SLA printing should be much simpler.

I printed these on a Wanhao i3 and an FLSUN Q5 in both luminous PLA and ABS @ 0.32mm layer heights. The large model took 9 hrs and small one 1.5 hrs.
