Description

Various mounts for 3/4" PEX piping to mount to a wall or ceiling. I used these to run a curtain rod for a green screen in an A-Frame house with 45° sloped ceilings, with one mounted to a flat wall. The type of piping used is easily available at hardware stores as it's most commonly used for water supply lines in buildings.

In order to make sure the PEX pipe didn't detach when the green screen was drawn around the rod I mounted the pipe to the mounts, then drilled a hole through the pipe and the mount, then inserted a paperclip through the hole and bent it at both sides to secure the pipe as a DIY cotter pin. I used one or two #8 metric screws to mount each of these, varying by model chosen, though I am certain there is an equivalent imperial screw out there as well.

Print in any material you desire, though as the supported weight increases it will become increasingly important to use a structurally-sound filament like PETG, ABS, or ASA, among others. PLA will work for lighter materials of thinner screens.

The final model, Twist, was designed more as practice than practicality, as all its uses can be achieved with either the 45° or 90°mounts, and both of those print easier. I've included it here just in case someone wants it specifically.
