Description
Cordless tool battery adapter.
Dewalt Battery to Milwaukee skin tools
Extra hardware
- 6mm male spade connector x2
- wire
- female fuse terminal x3
- M3 x10mm bolt & Hex nut x2
- 470k resistor
- spring (0.5mm, 35mm, 5mm) a retractable pen spring will probably work too
Prep spade connectors like this, flatten out the shoulders if you can
Basic assembly procedure
- remove spade terminal sheath and crimp to wires, flatten it out
- install spring and side buttons into top
- install wired spade terminals into base and thread into the top
- bring top an bottom together, pulling wires through as you go
- use nuts and bolts to bind the top and bottom together
- trim wires appropriately to allow female terminals to fit into their slots
- crimp female terminals, remembering to include the resistor into the positive terminal
- push terminals into place, I used hot glue to cover up the resistor
Reach out if you need further clarification
EDIT 28-3-25
Added V2 of the top that moves the female terminals a bit closer (4mm) to the male ones
