Description

Optimize your workflow on the Festool MFT/3 (or any workbench with 20mm dog holes) with these 3D printable hold-down clamps. Designed to provide a solid and quick grip without scratching your workpieces, they are a budget-friendly and customizable alternative to original accessories.

Key Features:

  • Universal Compatibility: Designed specifically for standard 20mm holes.

  • Ergonomic Design: The top knob allows for a secure grip and smooth rotation, locking the workpiece in seconds.

  • Workpiece Protection: The arm's geometry distributes pressure evenly, preventing unwanted marks on delicate surfaces.

Printing Advice (Important!) For this type of mechanical accessory, which is subject to constant stress and tension, I strongly advise against using PLA, as it would be too rigid and brittle over time.

  • Recommended Material: PETG. PETG offers the right structural flexibility and excellent impact and mechanical fatigue resistance. It won't snap under load and will maintain its shape even after heavy use. (ABS or ASA are also great alternatives).

  • Infill: Minimum 30-50% (Gyroid or Grid for maximum internal strength).

  • Walls/Perimeters: At least 3-5 perimeters to ensure the bolt hole and knob areas are solid.

Required Hardware:

  • 1x Hex head bolt M8

  • 1x Nut or under-bench clamping element (compatible with the MFT system).
