Description
I created this model inspired by Rico from THE JANKO PROJECT and his presentation on Superbooth berlin 2025. This layout lets you convert a regular Arturia essential keyboard into an isomorphic layout. The model is not perfect and there's some wobble with the keys, but it's minimal, and could probably be dialed in further (by printing a thicker hinge on the keys, there's 0.5mm tolerance currently), but I'm happy with the results.
Each octave consists of 6 3-point keys and 6 2-point keys alternating, and there's an additional 3-point key for the last C. Each octave is held by one key-holding block, and the last octave uses the wider block for that additional C key. The keys are held in the block via a 1.75mm piece of filament. it's easy when using pliers to push it though the whole keyboard and thread all the keys in place.
Printed with PETG, and the filament core is PLA. Not sure if that's important, just what I had laying around.
