Usage

These are designed to be used during rope bondage/shibari to add some extra sensation and fun. The wedge shape lets you easily get them under tight wraps and deep enough to keep them from moving or flipping out sideways. The flat-topped version allows you to glue on other pieces but keep the placement on the ropes (e.g., bottle caps, acupressure spikes).

For safety reasons, they should only be used by a single person, as they potentially can penetrate skin, especially if used on the underside of a suspension cuff. Sanitize after use with a method appropriate for your filament (e.g., isopropanol for PLA). Be aware: due to surface defects from 3D printing, microbes may still be present after sanitizing.

Print Instructions

Print with standard settings and supports just under the bottom wedges. Infill of 20% with 4 perimeters of PLA+ seems sufficient for strength. It is designed for two 6 mm bands, so scale up or down if using larger or smaller rope, if desired.
