Description
Some devices plugged into Type N connectors may be wider than the narrow connector (e.g., fast USB chargers or power supplies) and the code makes provision for wider devices.
The multiplug has two parts: the box and the panel, the two can be glued or screwed together.
The box has one or two holes a the bottom for the feed-in cable. The two hole version can be used to daisy chain boxes (e.g, on a work bench). The boxes can be printed with screw holes, either flat or countersunk. Finally the back of the box can have holes for mounting to a wall.
The panel is stiffened to withstand pulling forces. If makes provision for using brass inserts for screwing down the panel.
The boxes are not designed to be water resistant, please be careful when used in wet conditions.
Mains supply voltages (110V or 230V) can be lethal, so please ensure all necessary safety precautions are in place. Consult a duly qualified person to assist.
If the wiring is done correctly and wires are securely tightened, the fire risk should be low. To reduce the risk of fire, consider using fire resistant polymers when printing these boxes.
This design uses the following modules from https://www.onestosa.co.za/search/matrix
