Kumiko Lamp

Simple yet functional watch Kumiko lamp, designed in collaboration with Fox & Train! No glue or support required! Features snap-in tabs.

Printing:

Print frame parts in dark brown and Kumiko panels in latte brown (recommended colors). Choose between a thinner or thicker diffuser (thinner for a lamp, thicker for more like a nightlight) and print it in white.  

• Infill 15% Gyroid

• 0.2mm layer height

• 2 walls

• Thin diffuser - 1 wall (vase mode)

• Thick diffuser - 2 walls

For the best results use my print profile.

Assembly:
Put the double sided tape on the back of the LED kit (included with the kit).

Then slide the cable through the hole of the base part of the lamp. Press the kit into place. 

Next, grab one of the square frame pieces. Press the base of the lamp with the LED kit into the square frame piece until you hear it snap into place (be sure to thread the cable through it first so it goes out). 

Then grab the 4 large Kumiko panels and press them into the gap between the frame and base. 

Next insert the diffuser with the open side down onto the LED kit. 

Then grab the second square frame piece and press the smaller square Kumiko panel into it. 

Press this onto the Kumiko panels and diffuser from before (it may take a little force but it should snap into place). Ensure it is fully pressed together to make a cube. 

Finally, take the 4 leg pieces, and press them firmly into the corners of the cube (notice the small indents on the top and bottom of the frame and the nubs inside the leg parts). This may take some force to press them into place, but this ensures everything will be held together without glue.
