These whistles are loud, robust, and amazing. But I wanted an option to add a sticker design, so I added a little bezel around the top.
I also wanted to print a bunch of these FAST. But default Prusa Slicer and Orcaslicer has bridging errors.
The trick was to change the bridging infill direction to 180 degrees.
See attached image for how to do this.
These print great in any PLA!
Attached are 3mf files for easy printing, including the bed fill of 12x whistles
No Supports Needed. But there is a bevel on the bottom so good bed adhesion is key.
I have a very clean PEI build plate and print with the lid on to retain heat inside (makes a big difference for prints sticking when not using gluestick).
Printed on Creality K1C with "expert mode" to enable -0.025mm Z offset for best bed adhesion (squish)
Layer height = 0.3mm.
Temp = 235 c
Bed = 60 c
Standard speeds
consider turning on ironing (I didn't) for a more prestine print
For the sticker, the label is 11mm x 38mm with 1.5mm radius
I attached a Silhouette Cameo file with a full sticker sheet to use.
