Description
This TNT Dynamite Battery Storage Container is designed for AAA & AA batteries in versatile 3-, 6-, and 7-cylinder configurations. The files are named using the format NAME_X_M, where X represents the number of batteries that each variant can hold and M indicates the battery model (AA or AAA). Files missing either X or M are universal for that specific feature.
Fuse Assembly:
- The fuse is created using standard 1.75 mm diameter filament.
- Step 1: Cut the required number of filament pieces, each approximately 10 cm long.
- Step 2: Insert the filament pieces into the TOP_CAP parts.
- Step 3: Thread the other ends through the MINIBAND piece.
- Step 4: Adjust to the desired height and trim off any excess filament.
For visual guidance, please refer to the provided images.
Additional Details:
- All tolerances have been verified. For a better, glue-free fit, consider adjusting the horizontal expansion of the parts. However, for stronger adhesion between fixed pieces, using glue is recommended.
- The pieces are pre-oriented for optimal printing. For the LID and BODY parts, it is recommended to print with standard supports.
- Due to the simple geometry of the pieces, I suggest printing with a layer height of 0.3 mm and a layer width of 0.6 mm to achieve fast prints without compromising quality.
If this model is well received, I plan to upload additional variants in the future—at the community’s request—including designs tailored for other cylindrical batteries like the 18650.
Happy print!
