A top mounted belt tensioner for a FolgerTech Delta Printer. This may fit other 2020 framed Delta printers too. This allows for about 7mm of adjustment travel, and raises the idler pulley about 15mm higher.

NOTE: You will likely need longer 6mm wide GT2 Timing Belts for each tower.

I also designed extension risers to snap onto the belt extension towers to allow for maintenance; I have a top-mounted extruder and filament spool roller that wont allow the printer to sit flat when upside-down for maintenance work.

I also designed a built-in extruder mount for one of the belt-tensioner corners as a 1-piece unit. Since I already had the extruder mount printed, I also designed a belt-tensioner corner with a notch cut-out to fit around my existing extruder mount. You can pick & choose what you like or need for your printer. Make sure you print the correct part for your application. I also included my extruder mount design that fits a standard NEMA 17 motor on a 2020 extrusion.

The M3 heat inserts are 4mm x 4mm that I bought on ebay - not affiliated.

To Mount Corner Towers

12 ea. M4 x1 2 screws

12 ea. M4 T-nuts to fit 2020 extrusion

Idler Pulley

3 ea. M3 x 25mm screws to fit the three belt idler pulley

3 ea. M3 nylock nuts for idlers

Belt Tension Adjustment

6 ea. M3 x 30mm screws to adjust belt tension

6 ea. M3 heat insert nuts
