Belgian water hydrant for steam locomotives.

This is what I believe to be the Majolini version, likely often modified to have the valve at the base of the hydrant.   Dimensions come from an old book “Manuel du piqueur des chemins de fer”, dated around 1921.

Further, I based myself on an old picture taken in Muizen (Belgium) of a steam tender locomotive next to such hydrant, dated 1935.   (source “erfgoeddatabank NMBS”)

Some changes have been made to allow for easier printing and I had to use some imagination for parts of the photo that were not very clear.

A 1.05mm hollow shaft allows for eventual use of a servo to move the hydrant, or simply to position it at will.
