Description

Who doesn't know it - you buy a fancy alumin(i)um household ladder, and a few month/years later the end caps protecting the steps break, leaving unsightly open, often jagged and thus dangerous unfinished step ends.

This model comes to the rescue - print in TPU (open side up - the arch might form an “ugly” bridge but this part is covered by the ladder strut), slip it on and you're good. Mounting might be a bit tricky, slip on the longer side first, then guide the other (short) side around the ladder strut and wiggle it on, starting at the strut … that's when the flex comes in handy.

It is only one model, to fit on both sides just mirror it in the slicer or in a 3D modeling software of your preference

Modeled for a 4 step ladder, strut width 4 cm, step depth 8 cm, inclination 20°, a step (no pun) is included, so you can adapt to the measurements and angles you need, add/modify chamfers or fillets as you wish.

-----
