Description

This case is for the Bitaxe Ultra 1366 Bitcoin solo/lottery miner. There are two different versions of the bottom part - one with and the other without mounting holes. All parts can be printed without support.

The design requires the use of threaded/heat set inserts and an extension cable for the display.

BOM:

  • 4x M3 threaded inserts (M3x5.7)
  • 4x M3x10 round head screw
  • 1x 4-pin extension cable (length max. 10cm, so you can easily work during assembly)

The display is slided in from one side and is held by that bridge. It's a snug fit but after you managed to get it in, that boy ain't going nowhere ;)

As the temperatures of the Bitaxe Ultra 1366 normally don't exceed 55°C, I printed the lid with PLA+ and the bottom with ABS+. In hindsight, that wasn't that clever as the materials have different shrinkage factors. So I recommend simply using the same material and one that can handle the temperatures.
