Description
Designed for a CW2 extruder. Other extruders may not work (untested).
Required Hardware:
- 2x M3x12 or/and 2x M2,5x8
- 2x M3x16
- 6x Heat Insert
You can either secure the hotend with the holes usually meant to screw the fan on (M2,5) or you can use the two M3 bolts at the top. I secured my hotend with both options, because why not?
It can be tricky to get the heat inserts in. Just use your solder tip and press them in from the side. Be patient and don't melt the printed parts! Cut away any deformed plastic that's in the way when inserting the hotend.
The wires are fed through a channel to the top. If you cut them directly at the connector you don't even have to solder any additional wire to them in order to connect them to a SB2040 canbus board.
