🇺🇸 Welcome to Denver, the Mile High City! MiniWorld3D's founder Dany Sánchez lived in Denver for some time and created several models representing landmarks of the city. Union Station is the main hub of transportation in downtown Denver, Colorado. Dating from the beginning of the 20th century, it was renovated in 2013 and now receives light rail lines, the Amtrak train, as well as regional and local buses. It also houses a hotel, several restaurants, and shops. This model features the Great Hall, designed in the Beaux-Arts style, with architectural elements such as tall, multi-story arched windows and bays on the facade and in the interior, terrazzo floors, a barrel vault spanning the entire width, two exterior clocks, a metal canopy along the elevation of the structure, and other classical elements (from Wikipedia). MiniWorld3D is happy to bring this historical model to life as a homage to all the people of Denver. Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture! Print photos by Dany Sánchez in white PLA, hand painted with acrylics. Lettering details added with paper. ---------------------- Printing Tips This print has small details, fair warning: it may be difficult to print perfectly. The actual building has two wings, which are not included here, hence a flat surface on the left and right sides of the Main Hall. Supports are required for the eaves of the canopy. The lettering on top is fragile, if it breaks after printing, it's easier to print it on paper and add it. Infill: make sure it's enough to support the flat roof, lightning or halving steps are good options. Use slow speeds, especially in outer perimeter, such as 20 mm/s
