If you're using a PC case fan outside of an enclosed box, you don't want to touch the blades when it's spinning. This is a hex mesh that clips onto the fan case to stop that from happening.
The mesh file is for a Noctua NF-A14 fan, but it might fit other 140mm fans. The Fusion 360 file has parameters that can probably be used to make variants for other fans.
