Router Table Dust Collection (Mark II) - Magnetic table attachment

I made this as an alternative to Rockler's router table dust collection fitting. I wanted something that could easily be removed from the fence and transition to a clamped table collector when free routing. This was also designed with the dimensions of the New Yankee Workshop Router Table plans in mind, that has a 7" wide opening for dust collection (the previous size of Rockler's fitting). Conveniently this is also the max width that my Mini+ can print!

The result: the collection hood, with 2.5" OD fitting, and a pair of magnetic bases. One base has screw holes to be mounted to your fence. Another base has a large semicircular area intended for clamping.

The magnet insets were designed to hold 5/16" round neodymium magnets (I got mine from Harbor Freight, $3/10 magnets). 10 magnets are used in each part for about 5-10lbs pull force.

Printing the bases is straightforward. The collector itself is a bit tricky. I turned it 90deg to reduce overhang angles, and then used organic supports to support the hose connector and overhangs. Printed with 0.8mm nozzle, 0.4mm layer height, in PETG.
