Description
A remix of BeardedJester's almost perfect painting grips that allow the inverter handle to be attached to the regular size grip. I invert models while painting too frequently to be bothered unscrewing the bottle cap and moving my model from the regular grip to the short “cap mount base” supplied.
I'd like to add a hollow recess to the solid handle to add a magnet/weight for stability, but I've been struggling to find a quality supplier in my area with reliable dimensional accuracy.
Prints shown in photo are PLA+ at 205C with 4 walls, 0.2mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle.
I sliced in Cura 5.5 and used tree supports for the upper rim overhang, but it was probably overkill, even with the stock cooling on my Ender3.
Edit: I've printed this file ~8 times now, without a brim or supports and they've all been perfect. Supports are definitely unnecessary as long as your part cooling is at least as good as the puny original cooling on the Original Ender 3.
