Description

Hi there.

Here you are! An Mario Style piggy bank with a canon on top, inspired by Nintendo's WII Super Mario Bros. Level-Canon. The canon can be rotated and tilted.

The piggy bank is also available in smaller scale, adjusted for IKEA Skadis

For comparison, the box is appriximately as large as a TONIEBOX or a TIGERBOX  120mm x 120mm x 120mm (without canon, 220mm with canon upright).

The coins slot accepts all EUR-coins up to 20DKK (ca. 28mmx2mm).

The Box

The box can be printed without support. It is designed to accept four  round 10mmx2mm magnets.

The Inlays

The box can be detailed with inlays of the question mark icon and screw heads.

The Lid

There are two lids to chose from.  Both are designed to accept four round 10mmx2mm magnets (see picture).

The coin lid is self-expalnatroy. It can be supplemented with the large coin, that can be glued in place in the marked area or used without the large coin (needs to be printed with support).

The Canon

Make sure that your printer is dialed in well because the model is designed that there is some friction between bolt and the bore hole of lafette.  A test print of the two parts to check interference is recommended. Scale op or scale down the bolt to adjust friction.

The canon and lafette can be printed without support, depending on your printer. A brim for the lafette is recommended eather way.

To assemble the canon, you need to glue in place the bottom and bolts first. After the glue is set, put the bolts into the laffetes and glue the lafettes to the turntable. The turntable is then assembled to the canon box lid.

General recommendation

All parts, except the large coin, can be printed without support.

if you want to use pairs of magnets (lid and box) only use two pairs otherwise it might be too hard to take off the lid.

Have fun printing!
