Description
3D printed part designed to replace the original plastic gliders on the rear seat bed, allowing the installation of ball bearings for a much smoother sliding movement.
Print Settings
-
Infill: 100%
-
Supports: None
-
Material: PETG or ABS (highly recommended for heat resistance inside the van)
-
Supports: Not require supports. You need to remove the 3 thin strips that act as supports. You need to finish making the screw holes with a knife.
Additional Hardware Required
-
Bearings: 8x19x6mm (8 units)
-
Washers: 8mm inner diameter x ~15mm outer diameter (16 units). Important: The outer part of the washer must not touch the outer race of the bearing. The washer on the screw side may be unnecessary.
-
M8 bolt and nut: with a minimum length of 40 cm
To install the parts, you need to remove the seat from the rails and take off the front and side plastic panels.
When tightening the nuts, you have to be careful not to break the printed part. It helps to hold the metal end with pliers.
The small hole between the two large screw holes is there to help remove the original metal part if necessary.
