Description
Ball vises are one of the most overlooked things for ergonomics and that is why I made this adaptable tool. One of the most important things to me is that it doesn't have any nuts or bolts so it is easily printed for anyone with a 3D printer. It is a ball vise with a table containing a grid of magnets so that you can add attachments for whatever purpose needed. The attachments I made were a version of helping hands and a PCB vise that I modified. I also made templates to easily customize, so that you can add any attachments that you need. I printed all of the pieces on a Neptune 4 and I had supports on everywhere for all files except for the knob and sides of vise. I used both Elegoo black and transparent filament for this project. The only non printable components are the magnets. There are 42 small 6m by 3m neodymium magnets for my current setup.
For easy setup and a talk about what you can do with this, please watch this video.
please post makes and make your own attachments this is why i made this soo that people can modify for themselves
