Tessellated Outside Pattern

Spent entirely too long designing and perfecting this . It's a two-part container, designed to be configurable to any size & shape. I designed this gorgeous tessellated outside pattern that continues through the bottom part and reflects light with a fascinating intricacy.

Half-Vasemode

The top is printed classically– taking ~1.5h to print the D40xH50 size. The bottom, however, is designed for vasemode printing (Cura calls this'spiralize outer contour') and can be printed inhalf the time.

The Best Part

It fits so perfectly that even the lightest side slowly slowly slides and spins 'round free. It's immensely satisfying.

Printing Tips

print with low layer heights for optimal smoothness. I use 0.1 or 0.12mm

vase-mode / ‘spiralize outer contour’ is required for the bottom/inside part!

use ‘concentric’ bottom later to make the top & bottom look even better

I prefer dual-color matchups but that’s up to you! Remember the bottoms are the fastest to reprint..
