Description
Just a simple design to protect the ends of my track saw rails I got for Christmas. They slip on the end and are long enough to cover a new zero clearance rubber edge. Recommend PLA for a little flexibility in the model as it should be a snug fit. One for each end. Added in pair printing, and also individual for an end if one should break no need to print 2.
If you download and print and like, please let me know what you think. Also any areas you would like to see improved I'm always open to suggestions.
Some folks had a ‘too snug’ fit so I adjusted them slightly. New version 1.6.1
A new version by request, these have open ends so they can be fitted without having to remove the extension rails when hooking up multiple rails. The user wanted to put the caps on after using at a job site to protect the ends but didn't want to remove the extension guides. V1.7.4
V1.7.5 a bit more of a snug fit as requested.
