Do you want to print cute multicolour bees? You do not have a MMU or AMS? Than this print is everything you want.

These bees are ideal toys for bigger kids, young in mind adults and for decoration. 

There is a hole for 6x2 round magnet and second one, which you can use to put the bee on a pencil. If you position the head and the tail in the middle the inserted pencil even stops the bee from rattling. 

I have even included the hive STL. This one holds easily 3 bees, but you can scale it to your liking. (No it is not a big pile of poop)

Printing: 

everything is oriented correctly and prepared in batches for 3 different colours. You will need yellow, black and white. And possibly brown for the beehive.

You do not need to use supports. 

This print is a little tricky to print. You need to have good bed adhesion. 

Assembly: 

I hate it when some prints fall apart, so I designed this to be harder to assemble, but you can be sure, that it will not disassemble on its own. It is advised to use pliers while assembling to hold the connecting pieces and support with grip. Everything fits in nicely, but occasion pushing help from the table might be necessary. 

If you wan to have a easier to assemble bee, just print parts that insert into something a few percent smaller.

Common problems while assembling: 

I have made 43 of these bees and each problem occurred to about 4 of them. Not enough to make a modification but it might happen to you too. 

• the holes for eyes has drooped filament inside making it hard to insert eyes - easy to get rid of it with a small screwdriver
• the stinger breaks its snap in joint - just use superglue to glue it in permanently.
