Description

These stepper motor mounts are modified from the original ZeroG Mercury One.1 mounts (v.1.1.6).

I modified the top and bottom support both left and right, and added a back frame reinforcement to fix support flexing.

The back 5x30mm dowel pin is substituted by a M5x50 bolt. This stiffens the double idler flange stack that are clamped between supports and reinforcement.

The hole for the double stack on the bottom support was enlarged to 5mm to allow the M5x50 bolt passage.

The three columns for the M3 screws that fix the stepper motor are eliminated (they were brittle..) and the top plates were beefed to stiffen them

Use a M5x6mm heat insert on the back support and a and two M5x10mm screws with T-Nuts to fix the back support to the 2040 profile

P.S.

STL files are composite, split them into objects in slicer (I use Orca)

I snapped the M3 screw columns (see picture) and printed only the top beefed plate and it fits perfectly.
