Description
A single whistle prints in ~10 minutes at 100% infill on a Prusa Core One.
Below text was copied from the original model and updated with information specific to the Maine-based MIRC hotline.
A small but powerful whistle for keychains and fast printing
Help spread community safety with ICE alert whistles. These are printed with the Maine MIRC Immigrant Resource Hub and Hotline phone number to call if ICE activity is in your area.
Info on what they are for and how best to use them copied from this WA-based organization:
Why Whistles?
-
Instant alert system
-
Simple, cheap, effective
-
Noise = visibility
-
Turns silence into community action
-
Warns others when ICE is in the area, so vulnerable people can get to safety and everyone else can come help
Together, we keep our communities safe.
How It Works
-
Wear a whistle around your neck or on your keychain
-
Teach family and neighbors the code
-
If you see ICE, blow your whistle.
-
If you hear a whistle, either:
-
Get to safety
-
Follow the sound, form a crowd, stay loud.
-
Whistle Code #1 - ICE is Nearby
If you see ICE driving or lurking, blow your whistle intermittently:
- PREE (pause pause) PREE (pause pause) PREE (pause pause) PREE (pause pause)
Whistle Code #2 - Abduction
If you see ICE attempting to grab someone, blow your whistle continuously:
- PREEEEEEEE PREEEEEEEEE PREEEEEEEE
In summary, blow your whistle more for scarier stuff.

The Maine ICE Watch Hotline can be reached at (207) 544-9989
When you call, you'll get connected with a volunteer operator who can receive reports of ICE sightings, and then "verifiers" go out to confirm the sighting. The coalition has trained more than 300 Mainers to help verify reports of enforcement activity across the state and de-escalate tense situations.
If you're reporting a sighting, use and remember the "ALERTA" acronym:
